Marrow, India’s top healthcare education and training platform, has announced that Dr. Deepu Sebin, the company’s founder, has officially resigned from all capacities. The Board has appointed Vineet Bagri, the former Business Head who has worked closely with Dr. Deepu for three years, as the new CEO of the company. Dr. Deepu plans to take a break and then move on to investing and advisory roles in healthcare.
The transition has been underway since last year, with Dr. Deepu and Mr. Vineet working together to ensure operational stability and set new goals for the company. Under Dr. Deepu’s leadership, Marrow has become the leading platform used by over 80% of medical students in India to supplement their medical education and improve their clinical skills.
“We are incredibly grateful for Dr. Deepu’s contributions to our team and the healthcare industry,” said Vineet Bagri, current CEO of DailyRounds and Marrow. “His expertise and dedication have been invaluable to us, and we will miss his leadership dearly. However, we are excited to see what Dr. Deepu will build next and we know that he will continue to make a positive impact in the healthcare industry.”
Dr. Deepu Sebin is a leading healthcare thought leader and entrepreneur in India, and his contributions to the healthcare industry have been widely acknowledged. While he will be missed at Marrow, his vision and leadership have helped shape the future of healthcare education and training in India, and he will no doubt continue to inspire many to pursue careers in healthcare.
