NIAC celebrates CPR Day; trains students and firefighters with basic CPR Skills.

NIAC Pvt Ltd has celebrated National CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) day on July 27 at Army Public School Noida and Chief Fire office Ghaziabad to mark the 4th Death Anniversary of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a lifesaving method that is essential at times when a person’s heart stops beating. This technique is known only to less than 2 percent of India’s population.
If we highlight the data, around 80 percent of the cardiac arrest happens outside hospitals. This condition can be managed without further delay if we give immediate CPR to the person who is suffering from a cardiac arrest. Keeping the significance of time in mind during such critical situations, any person can manually provide CPR to a sufferer in order to save a life.
Talking about the initiative, Dr. Niraj Mishra, Director, NIAC Pvt Ltd said “Need for bystander CPR is of utmost importance and it can save a life when medical help is far away. Each one of us can learn this basic skill so that in time of need we are well prepared to save someone’s life. On National CPR Day, NIAC Pvt Ltd took the opportunity to spread the awareness among the young generation of our country and the first responders about CPR.”
