The 20th anniversary edition of the CPHI Pharma Awards is now open for entries, welcoming global innovators, scientists, entrepreneurs and social leaders across the industry. With the recent surge of innovation and social goals aimed at improving the wider world, the awards will celebrate 12 categories, including three new ones to reflect the changing industry.
The new categories added this year are for new methodologies, sustainability and philanthropic initiatives. The Accelerating Innovation award (formerly Covid Response category) recognises companies that have made significant contributions to combating the impact of global healthcare emergencies. The Start-up award is specially introduced to honour exhibitors from the start-up zone. This category will showcase projects at proof-of-concept stage to prototype or commercial launch. Finally, the Heart of Pharma award celebrates the acceleration of social, ethical and philanthropic activities.
Returning categories include development and manufacturing of devices and drugs, alongside packaging, supply chain, sustainability, regulatory compliance and CEO of the Year award. Previous winners include a who’s who of pharma manufacturing CEOs from Piramal and WuXi AppTec to Catalent and last year’s winner Aragen Life Sciences.
Entries will close on 15th May 2023. To submit your entry, please visit the CPHI Pharma Awards website. The winners will be announced at pharma’s largest global event.
