An overview of key insights from Everteen's 8th Annual Menstrual Hygiene Survey 2023

Everteen, a leading brand in the feminine hygiene sector in India, has released the results of its 8th Annual Everteen Menstrual Hygiene Survey 2023. Among the many insights that emerged, a significant trend was the adoption of new, innovative products to manage menstrual pain. The survey revealed that 18.3% of women are now using menstrual cramps roll-on, indicating a promising shift towards advanced solutions for menstrual discomfort.

This growing trend reflects the demand for technological innovations in the feminine hygiene sector. The increased adoption of new products, like the menstrual cramps roll-on, indicates the readiness of the market to accept novel, effective solutions that can make periods more manageable.

However, the study also brought to light that more than 50% of women are unable to sleep well during the first two days of their periods and that 63.6% experience moderate to severe menstrual cramps. It further states that as many as 82.8% of women have trouble focusing on work due to menstrual periods or the pain associated with them. These issues underline the need for more technologically-advanced, accessible solutions to tackle menstrual discomfort.
